The Clearest Option to Straighten Your Smile
Dr. Agrawal is excited to offer Invisalign™ clear aligners, an innovative solution that allows patients to have straight teeth in as little time as 9 – 15 months! These “invisible” aligners can correct overcrowding, widely spaced teeth, overbite, underbite, or crossbite conditions.
Invisalign utilizes 3-D computer-imaging technology to prepare a full treatment plan from the existing position of your teeth to your final straightened smile. Using this plan, clear thermoplastic aligners are constructed. These are very similar to whitening trays and are custom made to fit your smile. When you begin wearing the first set of aligners, they use gentle force to move your teeth gently into the new position. About two weeks later, you replace them with the next set of aligners, and continue moving through treatment. You only need to visit the office for evaluation about once every month or two. The total treatment time is based on your personal goals.
Invisalign Enhances Your Confidence
There are several advantages to the Invisalign clear aligner system. The best part is that people won’t know you’re straightening teeth because the clearness of the aligners renders them practically invisible! Someone would have to be aware the aligners are there, or look very closely, to be able to see them. This gives you more confidence in smiling or talking while you are in treatment.
Patient comfort is another wonderful benefit with Invisalign. The aligners are one piece, without metal or wires to deal with, so you require fewer dental appointments. The lack of braces, wires, or headgear also eliminates temporary mouth irritation.
There is also a convenience factor. Even though you wear the aligners all day and while sleeping, they are easily removable as necessary for eating and brushing your teeth. You can eat or drink what you want while in treatment, without food restrictions. And keeping teeth clean and plaque- free is easy, because there are no braces to get in the way of your brushing and flossing.
